About Us

Our Vision

The vision of the Christian Hot Rod and Tuner Association (CHRTA) is to be a tool for any use of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our vision is to use of our love of vehicles to bring fellow believers together through fellowship, to build each other up according to the Holy Word, and to win lost souls to Christ. We will use this association and our vehicles to serve Christ willingly in any way He sees fit. We will use the following as a general outline for opportunities to reach others for Jesus Christ:

• Car Shows
• Roll-Ins
• Special Events
• Assistance/Sponsorships of other Events and Churches
• (Most Importantly) How We Live Our Daily Lives

It is also our vision to submit ourselves, our love of vehicles, and our vehicles completely to Christ to do with as He pleases.

By daily submitting our lives completely to Christ, we can better become a tool for Christ to use in His ways. We strive hard to offer our lives, vehicles, and this association as a living sacrifice to Jesus Christ daily.

Values and Beliefs

• We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazereth is our Lord and Savior who died for our sins and rose again from the grave three days later.
• We believe that the only way to Heaven is through the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazereth was born of a Virgin and the son of God, brought to Earth to free us from our Sins.
• We believe in the Trinity, Three Gods in One. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost/Spirit.
• We believe that even with the differences in church beliefs that we must all work together in order to bring the word of Christ to others.
• We believe that the Holy Bible is God's Word and God Breathed and that it is alive and living today.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
• We will never tear anyone down for their personal beliefs, but will discuss with them any questions that they may have about Christianity to the best of our knowledge and pray with them if desired.

History

• The Christian Hot Rod and Tuner Association was founded in Boone, Iowa in the Summer of 2009 by Joe Russell and Bryan White. It was started as a way to bring together Christian car guys and to spread the word of Christ nationally at car shows and roll-ins. We are currently in the formative stages having informative meetings in Central Iowa and working on starting our first chapter in the Ames/Boone, Iowa metropolitan area with a second quickly to follow in Des Moines, Iowa. We are working to become an incorporated non-profit with the state of Iowa.
